Visited friends who rented a cottage. Beautiful, calm lake, and clean (for a "rustic feel") house. Bathroom was tiny and cramped, but I would return.

Affordability, comfortable, pretty pond views, warm, cabins have almost everything you need to stay here just bring your food and clothes! Pet friendly! Family friendly too! We've enjoyed staying here many times and had several family reunions here. Summer fun with a beach area, picnic tables row boats etc. In the winter you are near Mt Sunapee and other ski resorts. Perfect for Fall foliage area getaways. Many of the cottages have been updated in recent years. We have always enjoyed these cottages.
My family and I love this place. We've been coming here for years and Spec is so nice to deal with and most important goes out of his way to please his guest. The cottages are always clean but I suggest more pictures on the walls. Spec has done a lot of refurbishing on a couple of cottages which is a huge plus.. I highly recommend this place. Looking forward to Father's Day wk/end and the 4th of July!!! 2016
